Real Wood Shutters

At Castleberry Sutters, our shutters are not a hybrid made from part wood and part plastic, or vinly/poly products which use oil and emit carbon. Our shutters are made using high-quality, American-grown white poplar wood that can be sanded down smooth and painted for a fine finish.

Your new shutters will pass a quality test before we install them in your home. Often times, with a natural wood product, you'll find louver inconsistencies because of the grain in the wood. We use the best cuts of white poplar available to craft your shutters, even if we have to throw away otherwise fine pieces.

The Benefits of Our Real Wood Shutters

Stiles-size Shutters manufacturers sometimes use a narrower stile. Going from a 11/8" stile to a 3/4" stile will cause the shutter to feel flimsy due to the lost rigidity; but all of our panels come with 11/8" stiles.

High-quality tension pins

Some competitors use lower quality tension pins, leading to loose louvers that won't stay in place and cause light issues. Our tension pins and all of our components are very high quality.

Heavy-duty magnets

Many shutter companies use a 12-pound magnet to hold their panels in place, but we use 30-pound magnets. Increasing the weight holds the panels more securely and provides longer resistance to deterioration. Over time, magnets can deteriorate from sun damage. If this ever happens, please contact our office for information on replacement magnets.

Quality finish

Our finish sets us apart from our competitors. We work to ensure there's no open-grain on the face of our louvers, to produce a sleep, straight louver that is crack and warp resistant. Our paint will last for years; we even used it to paint our shop floors!

At Castleberry Shutters Inc, you'll get wholesale prices by buying directly from the manufacturer and you'll only deal with our employees during the whole process.
